If any of you have played around with the color creator in Social Club, you'll notice that it's very inconsistent when you move in game. Dark colors can appear very bright and some applications can make the same color look like two completely different colors. Right now there is an exploit working that lets us modify these colors to get shades the color creator normally doesn't allow for whatever arbitrary reason that Rockstar pulled out of their ass.
So anyway, I'm currently playing with it. I always wanted a cool dark red color, but I'm noticing that the pearlescent glitch that normally lets you apply metallic pearls over any type of paint, actually turns these exploited colors black. So that pretty much kills it as a viable way of getting a cool new color for a vehicle. So now I'm making t-shirts. I'd have preferred a deep dark cherry hot rod, but what the hell?
It looks good as a t-shirt.
It's a little bright on vehicles...
Any thoughts? Keep it, or turn it back to the old slightly not black blue?
EDIT:: For reference this is the actual color that was used in these screens...
To be honest I never used the crew color for anything but I do really like the look of that red shirt. I'm not sure if the red on the car is any brighter than the reds available in game but it's also a nice color. All around I think I'd prefer this over that greyish blue I think we have in place now
I say keep the dark blue. Our forums are dark blue, the blue looked pretty decent, and since we came from GTAF I think it's a nice nod to that.
Also, I'd have to change what outfit I wear to meets, and I love the one I have now, lol.
A dissenter arises.
Alright, I made a poll out of it. Best color wins.
You make some good points, btw. Since its something we are all living with I figure I'd make a democratic process out of it. I do like that red t-shirt. Still, there is no need for you to change up your style, Nos. I mean, I basically never used the last crew color. lol.

Eh, can't decide. I like both. I like the new one because that was the crimson color I was trying to get for my own crew. But the older one, though doesn't show up correctly in my game, looks to be a better color for the crew style, a dark and gritty type color.
Btw, nice lookin' garage there Ed.
