Oh, the Roosevelt, was kinda waiting for that to be mentioned. Yeah, that fits just fine. Is not that special, I know what the car looks like. I was on when it was going on. Good for you. It's still a rare vehicle and there are plenty of people who do not have it, so FBTHOU13's personal experience doesn't necessarily = "not special". Just gonna put that out there.

I kinda feel the Roosevelt is not fitting since it's not a luxury car but a classic old timer. It's still a great car so that's fine, as long as you don't forget to honk your horn! And I don't décide anything anyway :p

I personally had the same thought.. it is one of the rarest cars in the game to this day.. somethings worth or 'specialness' is a matter of opinion.. just because it's not yours doesn't make it less so.

And I don't décide anything anyway The Roosevelt does fit all criteria, it is a Sports Classic, when it was available it cost $750,000 so it fits the price mark as well. The only thing that it doesn't fit is more or less the original mission of Pebble Beach, and that was it had to be post-war. But let's be honest, the RL Pebble Beach no longer abides by that rule, this is why you see Duesenbergs, 1930s Bugattis (Z-Type), and many other that were before 1945. Good for you. It's still a rare vehicle and there are plenty of people who do not have it, so FBTHOU13's personal experience doesn't necessarily = "not special". Just gonna put that out there. I personally had the same thought.. it is one of the rarest cars in the game to this day.. somethings worth or 'specialness' is a matter of opinion.. just because it's not yours doesn't make it less so. Exactly, what I would have thought... Oh, the Roosevelt, was kinda waiting for that to be mentioned. Yeah, that fits just fine. Is not that special, I know what the car looks like. I was on when it was going on. Really? Really?! You had to throw that in there? Sure, it may not be special to you, but, c'mon, it is based off the real-life 1928 Cadillac 341A Town Sedan, a rarity IRL. Sure it may be slower, but the RL versions couldn't keep up with the European cars of that time either. The fact that it was a timed exclusive and hasn't come back to Online since truly shows that it is one of the few cars in Online that has any realistic rarity basis in the game. I'm waiting for the time they remove the Z-Type and Stinger GT from the shops, those are much more rare than the Roosevelt (Stinger GT is based off the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, which is a ton more rare than the 341A, and the Z-Type is made more rare with it being modeled after a 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, which the IRL version only had 10 in production). Yet these cars are not gone. I understand that it is a bit disappointing since one cannot customize it to the 9s, but it doesn't need to, it is an icon to the American car industry! Please, have some respect to the cars other people choose, this isn't GTAF, this is the Bullshifters. Have some respect. You never know what mrboomboom's version will look like, you can't automatically dismiss it if it is a car you dislike. There are plenty of cars I dislike in game, but I find a way to make them more aesthetically pleasing, and some I still don't like, but have found others' versions better than what I came up with... This isn't a group where you can trash others' taste in cars, or customization for that matter. We are a car-loving group, we show that appreciation through how we customize them. Like I have said to you in game, I have 2 different styles of customization, Race (Primary character) and Cruise (Secondary character), the Roosevelt isn't good for my primary since the Roosevelt isn't a GT labeled car BULL Car Spreadsheet but it is a cruise type car, it actually fits the theme better than the car I'm bringing. Please, please, please think before you post next time. We are more for the cruise and shows, than we are racing (though I like the races too). Just have some respect for others' choice, and others in general.

Just have some respect for others' choice, and others in general. That's not what I'm saying here. I don't hate them, I just don't have a interest with them for what I want to do. Dude, you clearly don't get it... That's not what I'm saying here. I don't hate them, I just don't have a interest with them for what I want to do. That's great man, we just rather you didn't feel the need to say it's not that special when clearly it is very special to others Jamie sums it up very nicely. That is your OPINION, and opinion that doesn't need shared to be honest, since it adds nothing to the conversation. It actually detracts from the conversation. I'm not one to be politically correct, but there is a line there that shouldn't be crossed. You crossed it by saying it isn't anything special. Cool, it isn't special to you, I get it, I don't like some of the cars in game, and am thankful that there are in game modifications to make them better, but again that is personal taste. This meet isn't about what car is special to the person owning it (if that was the case, having a rule in place that barred duplicate types seems unfair, as well as the price floor), it is about their real life inspirations and how they are special due to their rarity and how they helped influence the car world. That, in itself is special. If you can't appreciate that fact and only focus on what is special to you, then I'm sorry to say, you do not fit this meet, and thus have been removed from the guest list. You said the same thing twice, the first time I responded I had hoped you would interpret that as 'maybe I should keep that thought to myself.' But instead you chose to repeat what you said thinking I misunderstood. I didn't misunderstand, I understood it pretty clearly, if I didn't, I would've asked for some clarification. What you expressed is an opinion, and an opinion that did not need to be said. If I said I don't like gold plating, or anything gold. Cool! I didn't add to the conversation, and that may have in fact offended someone else's style. These things I keep locked up in my head, mostly because I like to be somewhat civil, and not to offend others for something as small as the fact that just I don't like gold. I get you don't have an interest in them, but seriously, I'm not trying to convince you to like the Roosevelt, that would be hypocritical of me. What I am trying to do is to have you realize that sharing your opinion, trying to make it seem it revolves around you, is kinda selfish. I don't want to repeat myself with you on this, and I shouldn't of had to from the first time, so please read the whole post. And next time think before you post; ask yourself the questions: "Should I post what is in my head?" "Is it worth hurting someone over?" "Is it really necessary to add to the conversation?"

Yeah I'll add you both. Lazerhawk16 you can bring the Huntley S but I must say that the Brawler may not be the best fit for this meet. By the way, are you sure you don't want the open spot on the list? gutslab just let me know what car you want to bring
