Just a couple of things to go through before the meet tomorrow:
- The way the crew system is setup in NFS is pretty clumsy but this is what I've been able to gather. To make sure we all get in a session together we all have to wait on the main menu screen after starting the game. From here you will go into the Crew tab and join my crew, (or i'll invite you.. whichever comes first). After everyone is in the crew we can hit Play, this will put us all in a game together and fill the remaining spots, (up to the maximum of 8), with random players. This shouldn't be a problem as long as those people are not dicks like random GTA players.
- To make sure that first point and the rest of the meet goes smoothly, make sure you're on TS. I imagine we'll all need some time to work out some volume settings as NFS seems to be a pretty loud game like the Division is,(had to turn the game volume down to 30 to hear eachother).
- Finally about the Bullshifters rules, we use all that apply, if we are racing there will be both racing incidents and lag so bumps will happen just try to give as much space as possible. Drift events should be easier to do this as it is generally slower than normal racing. In the cruise we shouldn't see anything.

Quick question, since we all need to be in the main menu of the game to join each other, what will happen if one of our games crash/internet goes down so that the person leaves the session? Do we all have to restart our games that the person can join again because that's how it seems to be from what I've noticed :S

Do we all have to restart our games that the person can join again because that's how it seems to be from what I've noticed :S I have also thought about that and from what I've noticed, as soon as someone leaves a session they're pretty much immediately replaced with a new player.. So yes we'll probably have to do that, which sucks a lot but this is just a test after all, we might be able to figure something else out IF that happens. |

also i have a fair amount of footage jamie if you want it, to rip the audio from, might be a chore to sync it up though

Well, I spent all night editing the video and when I rendered it all my captions and audio got desynced... fucking movie maker!!
Anyone know of a good, free/cheap video editing software??

anything on the internet is free if you try hard enough wink wink but black magic(the people that make capture cards n stuff) do a free variation of their studio editor, i found it to not perform too well, it requires quick time and doesnt always seem to find my files but if you have the patience to try and figure it out go ahead link
i'm using a free trial of Adobe after effects |
