anyone else getting warnings about low video memory in this game i only got it on medium setting so i find it odd from what i read on the requirements i should be able to run it on ultra or atleast high but i get a lag spike here and there even on medium lol

I couldn't even launch it, crashing on the first screen with the guages and playground games logo. Redownloading it at the moment

Redownloading it at the moment hmn the first time i opened it through the windows store it froze after the playground games logos on the black screen but i can get into the game fine through the xbox app just the low video memory problem not to mention the audio stutters or lag spike here and there and even if i put it down to low settings the lag spikes and stutter got worse lol Requirements: CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 @ 3.6 GHz. GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or 1060. VRAM: 4GB. RAM: 12GB. OS: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition 64-bit. DirectX: 12.  my shit atleast from what i remember: CPU:Intel Core i7-4790k @ 4.00GHz. GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 VRAM: dont remember how much i got here RAM: 8GB. i guess ill look into how much VRAM i got and then upgrade that if it dosent meet the requirements and i might aswell get some more ram while im at it |

Oh, welcome to the club KissMyAssets ! I have the exact same problem with the game, it crashes as soon as the Playground Games logo shows up. And we're not alone, theres thousands of other players who have the exact same issue along with a bunch of other things like framerate issues, random CTDs, input lag, missing Ultimate Edition bonuses, pre-load not working and who knows what else... And yeah, I agree with you, there really should've been a PC demo, maybe then Microsoft/T10/Playground Games would've avoided all of these issues because they could've fixed them before releasing the game, but I guess all of these issues are the reason why we didn't get a demo on PC in the first place. It's been nearly 13 hours since the release of the game here in Finland (and over 20 hours since the issue was first discovered and posted on the forums) and there's been no fixes that have worked, or even a little message from the devs saying that we're aware of the issues and are attempting to fix them. Only thing I've noticed on the forums was that the community manager has been collecting error logs, etc. from the users there, so I guess that is something. But there's a few things that I've tried that people have recommended on the Forza forums. None of them worked for me but they might work for you, you can try 'em out if you want: - Running the game in both non-maximized and maximized window mode - Running it in full screen - Spamming alt+enter to continuously switch between fullscreen and windowed - Minimizing the window as soon as the game starts and waiting - Installing older GPU drivers - Reinstalling the latest GPU drivers, both with express install and with custom install w/ the clean install box ticked - Starting the game without my DS4 plugged in - Starting the game with and without the Store app running - Starting the game with and without the Xbox app running - Disabling all audio input devices in "Recording Devices" - Disabling "Let apps use my microphone" in microphone privacy settings - Running SFC /SCANNOW - Reinstalling the game - Resetting the game (Settings -> Apps & features -> Forza Horizon 3 -> Advanced options -> "Reset" button) |

The game must not be optimized for shit. It runs 30fps locked on Xbox One, but it needs a Core i7 and a GTX 980 Ti on the PC? Ok. I haven't downloaded it yet. I've been grinding away trying to get cash saved up for the Bikers and More update. I'll probably grab it sometime this week though. I guess we'll see how it fairs. Hopefully they'll be issuing some patches between now and then. If only they had a pc demo to ... I dunno, test these kind of things -_- I think you early ultimate edition guys are the BETA test.  |

I think you early ultimate edition guys are the BETA test. if thats true then thats kinda fucked up towards the people who used the extra money to get the ultimate edition  i mean i can play the game on medium with a few stutters and lag spikes here and there but i just know if i play it for a longer period of time that it will probaly freeze on me |

I haven't had many problems with it so far.. Noticed a slightly longer than normal black screen after the Playground logo but it came back to me after a little while. I did get some small fps drops and stutters similar to what Renge is saying (But I'm on High settings) But that could have been since I was playing it all day lol
Hopefully they fix all of these problems by the full release at the latest.
