After such a long time being a member of this crew, I figured it would be about time to plan my own meetup.
Plan of the meetup: First we're just gonna cruise around the city and the Vinewood Hills in our precious cars (only from the below list). The first meetup point is at the parking lot of the St Fiacre Hospital at El Burro Heights. We'll do 5-6 stops including the starting location, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to switch your car.
During our cruise we'll be eventually going along the 3 routes we will drive along during the actual Hillclimbing part. This will then take place after we arrived at the final destination. The pictures below show the exact routes of the 3 courses. Each route will be a little longer, and is somewhat different to the others.
As I think this might take a little bit of time to do, we should restrict ourselves to Sports Classics and only 1 car per route. The finish line of the Hillclimb is always at the parking lot of the Galileo Observatory, where you can wait for your other mates to finish the climb while eating a hotdog and checking out the other cars.
I will attempt to stop everyone's time and then post the results later on the forums. But be aware, this is not really a competition, it's simply for fun. You should choose your favourite car, not necessarily the fastest.
South Route:
Northeast Route:
Northwest Route:
Which cars can you bring?: I think any of the below cars fit very well to the theme, and it is always nice if you bring them with a livery as well, as long as the option is given.
There's no forced dress code, but I always appreciate it when people style themselves fitting according to the meet
I hope you guys are interested, and I'll see you at the next meet!
