The class for this meetup will be the Street and Beater Cars (thanks to those who voted for this class in my previous poll). Street/Beater cars can be anything you see on the road. More specifically, the ones that NPCs drive. Examples are Fusilades, Sultans, Sentinel XS, Sabre Turbo etc.
Important Note: I've been getting this question a lot: what kind of street cars should I bring? Well I have clarified and I'm adding my answer to this thread. Street Cars that NPCs drive are the main class of the meetup. However, you can bring an expensive looking car or a cheap one as long as it's not that very rare to find in the game.
This meetup is focused on two things though: Showing off your nicest street cars and racing. You can bring two separate cars for these two occasions because I understand that nice cars don't have that very good performances. But if you do have one single car that you are confident of using for both the Car Show and the Race, go ahead.
For example, you find the Sentinel XS nice, so you bring it to the Car Show and cruise around with that particular car. However you don't like the top speed and acceleration on it, so you get the Sultan for the race because it's small, agile and quicker. Those two example cars are a bit difficult to find but they are on the streets so they are acceptable.
Techincally, you can bring street cars in the range from the Asea to the Coquette. In other words, you can bring cars from the Sedan/Coupe class to cars from the Sports class. As long as you can find it on the road, it is acceptable.
What Will We Be Doing?
Good question, fellow Bullshifter. Firstly, we will meet at the carpark near the LS Casino. (All locations on the map will be posted down below). From there, we will wait for everyone to join and be accounted for. Once we're satisfied with the numbers, we will cruise to the underground carpark near the Union Depository. Remember, we are cruising. Not racing. Do not put the pedal to the metal. In other words, no speeding and no overtaking. Try your best to be careful and not hit anyone's car.
Anyway, we will start a Car Show in the underground carpark. Each driver will show off their car. Once everyone has done that, we will have to vote on the best looking car. The person who wins will get.. well.. Street Cred, lol.
After the car show we will then cruise to the Race Start, which is the race that I created. (Remember the rules of cruising). We will do the races with different classes so do not worry if you don't have a proper car for the occasion.
After the race, we will finally head to the port/cargo bay at the East side of LS. There will be a high chance that some players will be separated from the other players once we leave the race and head to freemode. Don't worry, this is normal when it comes to Closed Crew Sessions. Simply join my game if you are in a different lobby. Like I said, if you have problems joining, message me and I will send you an invite. Once you've joined, we can then head to the port to do drags and carry out any general foolery. You can use other cars if you want to. The drag races will be the last event of the meetup.
How Do I Join?
Simply add me on Social Club. My username is RefleXEvoX. Once the meetup is starting, just go to the in-game Social Club menu and click the arrow next to my name. There will be an option to join my Closed Crew Session or as it says, "Join Game". If you have problems trying to join, message me on Social Club and I will personally invite you to the game.
When Will The Meetup Take Place?
I said this earlier but I will highlight this again. It will take place on 26 July, Sunday 11.30am EDT.
