The More The Merrier! Meetup ideas

I feel I may jumping the gun on this, but I have a few ideas for some meetups I'd like to host from September through December, and I just though I'd create a thread with a list of meets that would be hosted during these months. I know it may be too soon, but I tend to plan things out really early, otherwise I tend to forget things and end up in a panic induced frenzy when organizing events. So, here is a list of what to look forward to in the coming months:

Pebble Beach Meet

As the name suggests this is a meet centered around Pebble Beach's showing of rare and fantastic vehicles. And since these cars are rare, I will be putting quantity restrictions on them as well. These restrictions would be made according to how rare their real world counterparts are IRL. This one I will not be taking submissions for until I make a thread for it.

Date: TBA
Time: 11:30 am EDT
Location: Del Perro
Dress Code: Formal Attire, IGG Attire (must not be T-shirts and Sneakers)
Class: High End Sports, Supers, and Sport Classics (no cars under $150,000)

These events may to be hosted by someone else, and may only be able to pop in for a short time. If yang so chooses, he can add these to his more the merrier thread

Everyday Driver Meet

This meet will be hosted with one and only one condition: bring the car that you drive most in GTAO. This means the car that is driven most in freeroam, to and from missions, etc etc.

Streamline Meet


This meet will consist of mostly very sleek, very new vehicles. Their real world counter parts cannot be from before 2009. Very straight, designed to be low, and is able to speed like a jet. Takes place sometime in October.

Location: LSIA
Class: Low-slung, fast-looking, high end vehicles

The Great Drive-In



A traditional meet where everyone brings in Muscle cars, some cool Choppers, and maybe a few old school sport cars just to show off, race, and overall have a great time. Will be announced shortly after the Streamline meet and maybe announced in conjunction with the Black Saturday meet.

Black Saturday



A meet just before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend (and subsequent shopping mania). Styles are to be determined as time comes closer to this event, only known requirement is that the cars have to be Black.

Christmas Party Spectacular!

Just a Christmas hang out and everything being Christmas themed. Prominent colors would be Red, Green, with dashes of White, Gold, and Silver.

Dress Code: Festive!

New Years New Gears

To celebrate the new year, everyone would be asked to bring their most recent vehicle purchase. 

So I hope you all enjoy these ideas as I think they will be a blast to create and host. Let me know if you have any suggestions, or if you like planning far ahead, like to host one of the holiday meets.

maybe its just me, but i feel like its really weird that you put dates so far from now, and including the themes of the meetup. i mean, for me its like everyone else have to make room for your meets. if they have similar ideas/themes, or they want to host it on X date, well they can't make it because you already create it far before it actually happens.


i haven't and probably never will hosted a meetup. so maybe this schedule thingy is a good thing, i don't know...on one side i'm happy there's more meets happening, but on the other side, i just feel weird about this but then again maybe its just me.

Kinda agree with Yang's opinion. You should probably not reserve the time slots very early. I myself have been trying to find a suitable date to host a PDF Meetup (thanks Yang for the idea) and unfortunately I have to wait for 2 more weeks, probably 3, since there is still Stained's pick up truck meet, Ajminimized's F&F meet and also Soilworker's motorcycle tour. I'm trying to set up a thread for the meetup very soon and it appears that the only timeslot I can host my PDF Meetup is in early September. Hopefully there will be free slots on that particular timing.

What about Pegassi meet? There is multiclass meetup with supers, classic cars and sportbikes. And expensive outfits for sure)
Or 2-wheel vs 4-wheel meet - supercars vs bikes, or choppers vs muscles and lowriders

I wanted to add Pegassi meet originally, but as far as i know there's only 5 Pegassi in the game. I just thought there's not enough cars. But i'll add it to the op.

do you have any idea about the title for supercars vs bikes meetup? I couldn't think anything nice haha let me know and i'll update it.

There are 5 Pegassi cars and 2 Pegassi bikes (Bati/Bati R and Ruffian). Ok, and one boat - Speeder. This meet will be multiclass, but restricted by one manufacturer.

First, let me apologize for taking a week to reply to this, things IRL have not been going well, and, let's just say, the crap hit the fan and I have had to get all things in order to get to a decent point to reply. Secondly, I seem to have forgotten to add a disclaimer saying I wasn't reserving these dates, far from it. I just thought, due to time constraints and seasons, that it would be fun with the latter meets, I even mentioned that I would probably not be able to attend them, let alone host them due to family functions during that time (and Fallout 4). The most likely would have been the first 2 meets, and those are in jeopardy due to recent events...

With this, I do welcome yang to add them to the more the merrier thread. The one I'd most likely host now is the Pebble Beach Meet, as I'd think it'd be pretty cool, but it may have to wait until I can upgrade my PC's GPU, and it is too close of a time from Lassy's Silver Spoon meet (theme's are a little too similar). Other than that, the other 6 are up for grabs, I'll make the necessary adjustments to the descriptions to reflect that. 

Again, apologies for replying a week late and, well, jumping the gun. As always, thanks for your input.

All is well. The meets that you have stated in the original post sound fun and interesting so if they do take place, I'm excited to see what's in store.
