Calender tips.

Alright, so we are trying to organize all meets through the calender here and it isn't the most intuitive thing in the world so I'm setting up a short set of instructions to make use easier. Some of this information might seem painfully obvious to some of you, but for the sake of being thorough I'll be including everything.

First the calender is located within the tabs at the top of the fourm...

Once you open the calender just click on the date that would like to create your meet on. You will be greeted with this screen here-> You need to uncheck "all day event"

Once "all day event" has been unchecked you will be given additional boxes within which you can specify a time for your meet. You are going to want to select "Meetups!" as the designated place for your event to be submitted.

Once you have set your time and date, then select "Create Event" and a thread will be posted in the Meetups! section. In the top left corner of that thread will be an icon similar to the one pictured here.

If you click on this icon the date and time for the meet will display as shown ->

Once again I highly recommend hosting your sessions with The Bullshifters set as your active crew. Anyone looking to join a meet should also have the crew set to active. So long as this is done by both parties, the host can run a Closed Crew Session and anyone who would like to be a part of their meet can find the host online through their friends menu in GTAO and select "Join Game". No invites or messages required!

Everyone, please note that when you are selecting the time and date for your event, it is the time and date for YOU in your time zone.. not EDT or GMT.. but what ever your time zone is.
Then when people come on and view your event and click the time and date box they will see it automatically converted into their time zone.
To save on any confusion, a countdown clock is a very simple and easy thing to do.

Does the forum somehow automatically detect what timezone we're in or is there a setting somewhere? I can't seem to find one.
