So, I don't exactly know where to put this at, but I have delayed for too long to put this thread up. So, here we go...
Recently, I was talking to a friend of mine, whom we'll call Adam, and just catching up and all that jazz that friends do, when he mentioned him being in a rock band and asked if I would check out their songs that they had released on their website. He also mentioned that they were looking for ways to expand their presence online. Needless to say, they are a great group.
At the same time, I was telling him what I'd been doing in my free time as well, which included talking about our car meets here and showing him some of the amazing pictures and videos that many of you have posted. This kind of gave me an idea of sorts... What if we Bullshifters do a video using his band's music?
So, before I mentioned this idea to a few members here, I ran the idea with Adam, along with the video that got me to sign up for this crew: gtuned's Bullshifters video. Adam, loved the idea, and thought it was a great idea to have some form of music video up for their upcoming album next year. He loved it so much that he forwarded this idea to the band's lead and founder, who we will call Matt, who also though this was a great idea.
But this won't just be a music video, we get our names out there as well, showing the world what us Bullshifters can really do, along with some after meet shenanigans.
This all happened before I realized, this project is a huge undertaking, I'm going to need some help.
So, that is why I'm here, making this thread. I'm asking for your help in making this a really cool project for not just them to get their name out to the interwebs. Not only would this video benefit them, since they would now have a music video, but it would benefit us as well, since we would possibly have a band that would support some of our more artistic facets of the crew.
I have asked permission for the use of their already published works, and they are alright with it, as long as it doesn't get distributed beyond the realms of video making, they are a new band after all, and a potential friend of our growing community.
Their band's name is called Transparent Soul, and they really do rock. You can check them out here: Transparent Soul

FAQ:
Q: What genre is the band?
A: They are a hard rock band.
Q: Where are they from?
A: They are based in Knoxville, Tennessee
Q: Do you know all of the members, or only a few?
A: I know one of the members personally, and that would be Adam, who is actually a really good guy and a great bassist. The others I haven't really met, but they sound like they are all around great people.
Q: How do you know them? Was it in gaming? Or IRL?
A: Adam and I went to the same college together, meeting back in 2009. He's not really one for gaming, and I wasn't really either until more recently. But we studied at the same college and had the same group of friends that we'd hang out with on and off campus, becoming somewhat really good friends.
Q: Why ask for help for a project this big?
A: I have a difficult time asking for help most times, and this was no exception. I realized this project is a bit bigger than I had originally realized, especially since I really have zero experience making videos. But I thought it would be a good project for this community to work on as a whole, not entirely sure how to do it, but I'm sure we all can do it.
Q: If I help, will I get credit for my work?
A: Yes, all those involved will get credit for their work. I am a firm believer of giving credit where credit is due, and I don't stray from that at all. Whether you participated in a clip where your character shows up, or you were the editor, you will be credited for your part.
Q: Where did you get this idea?
A: Right here -> GUNSHIP - The Mountain
Q: Is there a script? Or is that up to the editor's choice?
A: There isn't really a script, unlike the video above, but more of a clip show of the more recent meets and the after party activities. This could also include clips from those of us who have done heists, missions, etc (just no strip club or hookers please). Just show the crew's abilities and sync up the clips to the music.
Q: Is this a competition?
A: This is not a competition, but more of a joint effort. I'm not exactly sure how to make it a joint effort, but am open to ideas from you all on how to make it a true joint effort between members of our community.
Q: What about copyright?
A: I have express permission for us to use the available songs on their site. I will eventually have the MP3s for their songs for those editing the videos, this way no one pirates the songs off the web. As such, the video(s) shouldn't have much issue.
Q: Is there a deadline?
A: There isn't really a true deadline, but I'd say the earliest for things to be done would be in the end of March of 2016. This gives plenty of time before I need to give them an update on what is being done. I know the video process takes a long time and we all have lives to live. This is why I'm giving such a liberal time for the next physical update for them.
