Mods Mods Mods!
This thread is to post information about what mods you have found or have heard about that can work with either GTA Online or Single Player! With the recent secret mod patches Rock Star was put a temporary stop to modding in GTA Online with is a good and bad thing.
Good because no more ass wholes blowing up a whole server and blaming it on someone else
Bad because it makes getting different customization for vehicles and quick repairs done at meets more difficultSo Basically What Happens is: If you have information about mods that are working now, post a comment with a link etc. Lets keep this positive and helpful!

It's a good idea to back up any file you modify so that you can replace the modification with the original should something not go quite right. I actually ended up having to re-install my game as well, but it was actually due to the Social Club downloader messing it up during the last update. Anyway, I like the Single Player Garage Mod... though not quite as much as I like just saving vehicles with the Advanced trainer and then parking them on the map with the persistence mod. The one cool thing about SPG is that you can actually use it to create custom vehicle colors right in the game. You are given a slider to use with a color gradient just like you get in photo editing software. Not sure why this isn't just available for crew colors period right in the LSC as a standard game feature. Single Player Garage: www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/single-player-garageThe next one I like is Szabo's Persistence Mod. However, SPG's readme file indicates that it may not be compatible with some persistence mods. As a result I've never had these two installed at the same time. Given a choice between the two, I'd take Szabo's Persistence Mod : www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/szabo-s-persistance-modFor the Persistence mod to work, you will need the LUA plugin for scripthook. The LUA plugin is going to require Visual Studio 2013 C++ Redistributable Package from Microsoft. Finding the correct version of LUA to use with the mods might be a bit tricky. I just went looking and noticed the download from the website appears to be down. The GTAForums topic for LUA is here: gtaforums.com/topic/789139-vrelhook-lua-plugin-for-script-hook-v/I also use Enhanced Native Trainer for Single Player. I like the menu layout. The vehicle organization for spawning can be a little odd, but over all it's pretty well put together: www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/enhanced-native-trainerFor altering player models I like the Skin Control Mod: www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/skin-controlOpen All Interiors is pretty great. Gives you the yacht and the air craft carrier from the heists in Single Player. It also lets you into all of the various interiors used (and not used) in the game. It even places handy markers on the game map for you, so you know where the interiors are: www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/open-all-interiorsFor open interiors to work properly I believe you also need OpenIV's .asi plugin installed. It's job is to manage the modification folder that replaces certain game files when you load into the game. Using this method you actually don't need to overwrite your original game files, the game just instead will load the copies from your mods folder. However, the file tree within that folder must be a carbon copy of the actual game directory you are modifying. For example if I want to mod a texture for a vehicle, I can't just store that one texture modification, I have to make a copy of the entire file archive that contains the texture I want to modify and then store that archive in the mods folder, with the modded texture placed within that alternate archive (modception). That's about it at the moment. I mainly just like to be able to save and modify cars, then place them around the map. I'm easily amused. I like to use the SPG mod to create a custom vehicle color, then I'll save the vehicle with the custom color using the Enhanced Trainer. After that I'll uninstall SPG and install the Persistence mod. I'll then go into the game, spawn the custom vehicle with the Enhanced Trainer and park it on the map with the Persistence mod. It's p sweet.

I've started making some t-shirts for the single player protagonists. I thought It'd be kinda funny to get 'em into crew gear and then run the game with 'em that way.

Open Camera openiv.com/?p=1160 is the only mod i use regularly. Removes the camera distance limit in the editor which gives freedom to move the camera as far as you want. Some of my videos wouldn't be possible to make without it. Also allows to take amazing screenshots

A VIP what menu?
All of the menus have the same risk... It doesn't matter if you pay for them or not. Right now the safest method online is the .dll injectors. You need to use them sparingly though. You especially need to abandon ship when a new patch is coming out. Or so I have heard.

you could have just called it n-menu, like 99% of people do lmao i dont really care to be honest Well as long as we're all being honest I think that's pretty classless, thoughtless, arrogant, pick an unflattering trait. I care, and I know people that struggle with that word every time its shoved in their face. I don't really like to see it. You put it in a hip-hop/comedy context or whatever and its supposed to suddenly be funny, but it ain't cool man. I'll be nice and say please. Please don't use the word again. I don't care what the context is. In fact no racism is one of our forums rules.

If you wish to speak about the certain menu, please use the "n-menu" for now on. Thank you. And remember the rules for this thread.

All I can say is be careful online, period. I just got back from a one month ban and I was in a private lobby making a machinima with my friend.

Yeah the previous .dll injection method is now detected... sort of. The menu makers are left speculating what specifically is being flagged. It mainly looks like the money drops are what is getting most people. If your VERY careful about how you mod then you can likely still get away with a bit, but the amount of time it would take to gain anything of significance with the amount of caution required means you might as well just play the game. It's all a roll of the dice at this point. The variables regarding what works and what doesn't changes to often to predict anything with real accuracy.
