Have any suggestions for the forums? Post them here.

I have two. If we are going to have the other versions of the crew here, would it be possible to separate the main boards according to the platform that people are on? Especially since there isn't cross-platform capability. This would help eliminate confusion when signing up for meets and the like.
Secondly, how about a sub-board that deals with updates? This sub-board would house the discussion for the updates to the game so they aren't buried in the other miscellaneous GTA chat, which makes it a bit easier to look up.

That is why we separated the Meetups section into three individual sections. The rest of the discussions can be applicable to all platforms of the game so we didn't separate them that much. As for your other idea, I did really like that idea when you suggested it before and I will get on that soon. Cheers mate!

Well considering that the GTA Updates don't come out all that often we figured a topic in the GTA section would be enough to cover and keep track of them. As for the separation between crews, I had that initial thought, but really all we need to separate are the meetups. Jamie and Nos did a great job dividing the meetups section. The rest of the board is basically general purpose GTA discussion, and the more members we have to participate in those areas, the more activity and input are generated in those topics. That said, if it does end up turning into a confusing mess in practice then everything is up for review. The forums may yet adapt further, but I'd like to see how the current setup plays out first. ::EDIT:: Jamie is faster then I am.

Sorry Ed, I just did it.. I can see it getting used and at the very least it could be an interesting topic to look back on in the future

Well it's not as if it's huge point for contention. If you think it's useful then by all means. I do see how it could be cool to see the updates cataloged in one place. I sort of wonder if we are nearing the end of GTAO's updates though. Isn't much room left on the shelf at Ammu-Nation.

Hmm that would be a shame.. to do that they'd want to have a new game on the way though

I don't think they are nearing the end, it is true that they have run out of space, but did you guys also notice that in most ammu-nation stores (ones that don't have shooting ranges), there are locked doors just to the left of the counter. They could add new weapons there. As well as time some of the older ones out. There some DLC weapons I don't use, and I'm sure there are others out there that don't use all the weapons either. Keep in mind they also promised Story Mode DLC, which could also seriously expand GTAO.
If I recall correctly as well, R* said, I think near the release of GTA V, that they want to have a GTA that encompasses all of the major GTA cities (Vice City, Liberty City, and San Andreas/Los Santos). So we could eventually see GTAO become a lot bigger with time. Especially if the audience keeps growing, and they make people happy. This could become a serious cash cow instead of just releasing a new game every few years (though I wouldn't mind seeing what they would have in store for GTA VI).
What does this have to do with suggestions? Nothing really, but the way I see it, if it keeps growing, it could very well mean our forums keep growing. So, fear not, I believe R* is just getting started on the good stuff.

I read somewhere (can't remember where now) but R* basically said Online has done better than expected so they're focussing on that rather than a new story and singleplayer stuff. I'm sure they're working on GTA 6, but I think there will be many updates to come, until Mid/Late 2016 at least. It looks like from the files and past releases a lot of stuff is already done and just needs to be packaged into a DLC (beta cars in dlc's and people finding stuff in updates etc)

I agree Lassy, I read somewhere that if GTA VI were to come out, the earliest R*could push it is 2018. But to top GTA V, it may be 2020 before we see the next installment. But there is a shit ton that can be done with online. In fact they could treat GTAO as their version of WoW and just build it to where it encompasses all previous cities (which would be wicked). I just see an abundance of potential for GTAO. To me, it seems that GTAO is still in its infancy and R* is just getting started. Though, Story Mode DLC would be a great way to introduce new areas to the game without breaking it. Can't wait for what the future holds.
On a side note, I think hosting a meet on the consoles may help get the console players more interested in the forums. All we would have to do is store the meet info here, and link it on SC with a title for the meet. This way it can help introduce an easier format to meets than making promotional videos for each meet. Once I am able to, I could host a few on the PS4, since I am also part of the PS4 group.

Yeah I hope the updates keep coming thick and fast for online to keep people interested. Getting a map with all the gta cities would be awesome!!! On the PS4 idea, I really don't think that will work. They seem to like that way they're doing things right now and aren't interested in giving us a chance. I even had a three reply long post deleted from the XB1 SC because, "they had already mentioned it and didn't think it was necessary". When we started the forums we had to spam the shit out of the SC page to get people to notice the forums and we've still only got a third of the SC population on here. If they're not prepared to do that then I say we leave them to it. If they feel like they need it they can come to us.

It was just a thought. But I do see where you are coming from. I was hesitant in joining the forum as well for a couple of reasons, one of them being my last couple of experiences on forums have been less than stellar. Though once I was able to get PC version, I felt it'd be easier to join meets and organize them, and with NFS coming up, there is a chance for teams in that game too. We don't have to be just GTA. But it was just a thought.

Might be best to let them have their space for now. And yes I have always planned on extending the crew to NFS since it does have that "Crew" feature to it!

It's kind of odd really, we only thought to set it up per request for some kind of official recognition. If it becomes clear that they aren't interested in utilizing the place, I guess we'll just eventually hide the sections...
