Next 4 Updates Leaked? (Speculation)

So, I was just casually browsing the web, wondering if there was any info leaked for the next update, which could be very soon as the Halloween surprise ends on the 16th of this month, and lo and behold, I find leaked information on not just the next update, but possibly the next 4 updates. If this info is correct, we are not only instore for a Lowrider part 2, but also another Christmas update, and apartment update, and something refered to as patchday8ng. This being said, details include properties and customizable interiors, 15+ vehicles, several new weapons, and probably even more goodies.

Considering R* has given 2 game changing updates back to back (Freemode Activities and Lowriders), I'd say that R* is really stepping up their game for GTAO, and I would not be surprised, that on November 17th, 2015, we will see even more stuff added to the game that changes the face and feel of GTAO. So, Bullshifters, prepare yourselves for some awesome digs, cribs, and rides, for we may very well be looking at some awesome things in the not too distant future.

What I am definitely excited about if these are correct:

Mansions!
Apartment customization!
Yachts (Holy ...).
AK weapon
a couple of new cars!

These are epic! I really hope that the mansions part is real and will be happening in the game soon-ish, I'd love to own a mansion in the game! Or atleast a proper house, I mean yeah there's a few houses that you can buy in the game atm but imo they're all pretty bad and they all only come with 6 car garages, which is not enough for me haha

I don't think yachts will be coming anytime soon. The footage and snaps of the coding for them are very ALPHA as there are still PLACEHOLDER indicators. Some of the new cars are nearly complete though, like the Mamba (I want because Cobra) as they seem to be fully functional, including what seems to be new idle sounds, just a few texturing issues with the interiors. The Tampa looks to be a different build than from GTA IV, Looks more polished and uses more polys with fewer vertices. The weapons look to still need to be worked on, especially the Revolver, which seems to be very low res (way too smooth) and the reloading animation is taken from a different Pistol for the time being.



If you read through the GTAF entry I posted, you may have quite a bit of reading to do as there is about 20 pages of hype-train rollercoaster before the "leaker" added more proof (around page 60 or so). A lot called fake (including funmw2 and yan22), but it seems to be somewhat true, as R* has been adding cut content to the game for some time now. This "leaker" does not speak English well, in fact very broken and misunderstood as she has to use Google translate to post. But funmw2 seemed to have confirmed the new actions/taunts on Friday via his Twitter and he included that there was a new contact and another vehicle, Vapid Minivan2.

But I do have more vids to show.

Hopefully some of this will be confirmed by R* on the 17th, I really, REALLY want that Mamba.

Speculations:

1) Considering the load order of these updates, the first may be the Apartment update as that is mentioned first.
Load order of the update code names:

• mpapartment
• mplowrider2
• mpxmas_604490
• patchday8ng

Considering this order, if the order stays true, we could be blitzed by updates, starting with Apartment Update then bleed into Lowriders Part 2 and right into Christmas with a third Festive Surprise. All could be done since it seesm R* dropped last gen from the roster.

But it could be a different take as well considering the forth one labeled as patchday8ng. Which, to me, gives the idea, that this may not be several small update, but one MASSIVE update to the game.

2) Now, consider the amount of unfinished textures, animations, and the usage of placeholders, there could be a reason regular leakers, like funmw2, had trouble finding this information to confirm whether or not it was the works, or just mods, or a really big hoax. The "leaker's" unwillingness to share the sourcecode is also evidence that some think it's a hoax. But others have come up with another theory. These files, or at least some of these files, are not deep rooted in the update files, but are actually still on the development server in R*. Which, if this idea is true, either the "leaker" is an employee, or hacked the server, either intentionally or unintentionally. This would explain the "leakers" unwillingness the share the sourcecode, since it violates international hacking laws.


Now what makes me believe this is real are a few things:

1. The models in game are not ported from Open IV, they are too high poly to come from GTA IV
2. Most of these also are not published mods. Searching through, there are only 2 and they were ports of the Cognoscenti 4-door, and the Tampa. As discussed before, the Tampa in this infodump is higher poly than the GTA IV version, as well as the missing hood scoops and the addition of SEVERAL vehicle mods for the car. Even going deeper, the Mamba is new to the HD universe (returning from GTA I in name only), the Nightshade is a mixture of a 1970 Firebird (Rear) and a 1970 Camaro (Front), The Veirleir is also new with it being the first rendition of a TVR and Weismann in the GTA series
3. There are two photos of which show liveries for two already leaked cars for a low rider 2 update, the Sabre Turbo and the Slamvan.
4. The fact the funmw2 kinda confirmed these by confirming the animations, which there are no mods currently that can add animations.
5. Besides the Revolver, the other weapons are pretty much ready to go.
6. Vehicle sounds, from what I understand, are somewhat unique and not used by other cars ingame
7. Apartment furniture seems to be ready to go as well, most models are really well done (developer style done) and ready to go. 
8. I really want the Mamba to be real!

Anyway, that's it for now, I'll keep an eye on everything for further developments.

the yacht thing seems kinda fake looks like the boat thats already in the game just extended and if they do plan to add something like a yacht it will probaly be expensive as hell

Yeah the yacht is what got me as well, it looks hell-a fake, especially with the placeholder images being those that can be easily searched online (hell, I think one of those pictures came from a show called Epic from the Discovery Channel). It also was the main reason many in GTAF thought the whole thing was fake. But, after looking through both the long-ass GTAF thread, and the French GTANF site, the "leaker" did post lines of code for the yacht, and there is quite a bit for it, and it looks like it may be an apartment option as well.

It's more of a waiting game at this point, until R* can confirm even part of the leak in Newswire. But my verdict is that it is real, but the yacht is still a long-way off.

I don't like R*'s decision to do this Lowrider event this week, a whole month after the actual DLC. Should have had it after the part 2.

I don't much like it either, but thinking about the time of the year and all, it could really be that they want us to spend money on current lowriders, then have most players be broke when the DLC drops to coerce them to buy Sharkcards. But, I also don't see it that way either, so I'll continue to watch the nNewswire for updates. Though, what I'd really like to happen is to have a HotRod shop update! To me, that seems to fit more with the Bullshifters style.
