Civilian to Off-road Truckers MeetTime to show your large vehicles in a Truck Meet. We'll be Meeting up at Paleto Bay Gas Station. Show off each and one of trucks. After the meet, We'll be going in a Phantom with 2 people in each of them. Each Phantom will have a trailer attach to it. I'll be choosing one person to lead the pack to the racing location. The road that the race to be at is going to be really dangerous and almost impossible to maneuver due to the small strip of cliff on the side of the road. I'll be spectating the race to make sure no one doesn't do anything stupid. Then when we have the winning semi team that wins the race has to go head to head with each-other in the same race but heading back. Who ever wins that duel will get the PC Commissioner spot of my crew. My crew is called Legend of FBTHOU13. We do racing, meets, and driving challenges. Date: December 17th Time: 2 pm to 4 pm Mountain Time Meet Location: Paleto Bay Gas Station Allowed Truck Brands: Bravado, Declasse, and Vapid Race LocationRace Rules: 1. No hitting each other. 2. No Choosing Flatbed Trailers for your Phantom. 3. No using brakes (Hand brake included) 4. Only let off the gas to slow down Drivers, I would you like to tell that I will be throwing a curveball at you. I'll announce what it is during the meet. P.S. Okay, just a coupe of points I would like to address regarding this.
1. This isn't "..the first ever Truck Meet." There have been a few before now, some even before the forums started. 2. Which cars successfully classify as a 'Truck' in terms of this meet? 3. Why would there be two people in the same truck for the race? There's nothing a passenger can do in a situation like that, they would just be along for the ride. 4. We play tested the race last night and noticed a couple of things: - It is pretty easy to get trucks with trailers to spawn once you have one or two driving around. - It is quite fun to drive Semi's around that road but as I suspected it is next to impossible to pass without taking out your opponent or yourself or both in the process. Therefore I assume the person that starts first will probably win unless there is an incident. 5. Lastly, the reward for winning. I won't attempt to speak for everyone but for me personally, I don't have any free space for another crew, nor do I need it. I use this crew as my regular crew, only switching to my personal one to play with and test modded colours. For our racing, meets and other GTA activities we have everything we need right here.
Sorry if it looks like I'm just bagging on your whole event but we have developed a standard for creating events and this has just missed them by a little. I recommend checking the way some other people have set out their meets and try and do the same for yours. Some examples you could check are the Off the beaten path, the Perro Beach, and the No-Shifters part 3 meets.
Just ask if you need some more clarification about anything I've said.
