Looks unfair with people using their Hydraulics to dodge. I think that shouldn't be allow in Demolition Derbies.

The cars did go flying with hydros on, that is how it got interesting. Kinda hard to dodge someone with them, thanks to GTA's spring loaded physics.

We should one with trucks except for insurgents and have the option to have armor to make everything more challenging.

Having armor on a car makes it pretty much indestructible if you're going to be doing demolition derbies with it. I mean even these rounds that we did with these cars, with no armor, took like 10-20 mins each before a clear winner (or winning group) was found, so adding armor to that, would make the rounds like an hour or two, since the vehicles just wouldn't die. You can pretty easily see how much the cars can take if you just take a car with 100% armor (even 20% armor makes it harder to destroy it) and start crashing into other cars/props on the road, it's going to take quite a while before you get the "Your vehicle has been destroyed" message

If one has a 100% armor on a car, it can take upwards of an hour to disable it. We don't want the Demolition derby meets to be about longevity, that isn't really the fun of a demolition/destruction derby. The point is being the last one standing, and seeing how we tend to have 3 or 4 matches in a single session, that makes a whole meet. Adding armor just defeats the purpose of the event, and it would take too long, and too many would get bored from the seemingly non-progression of their inflicted destruction. It doesn't matter then how hard you hit, because the result will be the same with armor on, more force = more damage. But it isn't fun if your opponents seem to take zero damage. Also, let's try to keep discussions like this out of the picture threads, it clutters up the whole thread, and others who just want to see pictures, don't want to see discussions taking up half the post count.
