Rally Sprint Event! Maybe at a later time.

Hey guys,

so since the new Sultan came out i thought maybe i should make a Rally Event, Rally in the way that we do Sprints on dirt and few parts pavement there are a total of 7 sprints, i will keep track of every team's time yes team the race will be pretty "hardcore" with a driver and a co-driver who gives directions to the driver, the driver will not be alowed to use the
minimap (you can disable it in the options).

The Event will take place on Friday the 19th of Feb. time not fixed yet.

So teams of 2, each who will go on time attacks trying to beat the best time. There will be only ONE team racing at any given time we will announce the Leader for every stage and the complete winner with the best total time across the board at the end of Stage 7.

Ofc you guys have to pick a teammate you want to drive with im not gonna force anyone together if you Sing up please tell me whos your (co)-Driver.

I realeased the routes already so you can study the tracks like in real Rally races, so everyone can get his best performance and drive on the limit of man and machine to make it nice and comepetitve

Obviously we would need a Teamspeak for that i hope we can use the NoDo one otherwise i could provide one too. 

Rules!: 

-It is generaly forbidden to cut anything this also means no cutting of chicanes.

-There are no real restriction to cars i'd just recommend a good offroad car that has some speed and trust me Supersports like T20 wont have a chance on these tracks. (But please dont come with Supersports)
-IF YOU GET OFF THE TRACK WITHOUT BEEING ABLE TO RECOVER EASILY, OR ROLL OVER JUST ONCE IT WILL BE TREATED AS AN DNF AND YOU WILL GET 10 SECONDS ADDED TO THE WORST TIME WE GET AT THIS STAGE AS YOUR TIME.

 

The Stages are chosen the way so both types of racers can have their moments we have fast paced speed sectrions where control over the car is important but we also have very technical serpentines (rough corners) where its key to have good breaking and cornering as well as bumpy spots where speed definitely isnt the key.

As much as I really like this idea I think I have a little theory as to why you didn't have any response.
You are relatively unknown among our new members and you don't really have the best rep with people that do know you.

I recommend attending some other peoples meets and meet new people.
You shouldn't be jumping straight back into trying to host meets right away.
What I tell other new members is to attend a few meets first to show your face and meet new people and gain their respect and learn how meets usually go. Then you can try host your own 'normal' car meet then if you have a few successful normal meets under your belt you can try the more unorthodox events like this one.

Also Friday before a weekend with 2 meetups (one which is an "official" one) won't really get much interest. We just had about 2/3 weeks without a single meet and then 3 suddenly come at once. Meets take a lot of energy to make/participate in also.

Also perhaps advertise your thread in the chat/sc because I think it got drowned in post meetup thread bumping and other meetup signups.

Yeah Jamie i understand you, but you said that i should do some normal meets first the problem with that is that i thought that especially there noone wants to come because because everyone has been to these, thats why i thought i could get some ppl interested in some unusual stuff.

Well maybe i shouldnt delete the post and just leave it and retry at a later time, because i've spent some good time figuring out stuff.
I just hope that its because very few ppl know me, that noone replyed and not because the idea was shit since i think it could be much fun.

No the idea is definitely not shit it's just you might need to show your face around first and show people that you have what it takes to pull something like this off.
Just know it's not personal, same goes for everyone here.

I will move it the the Completed Meetups so when the time comes you will have access to it again.
