Saying this now. Don't go in any public lobbies since hackers are literally drain players money by forcing them to destroy their own car without them knowing. Please wait for a week or two for Rockstar to get things settle. Here's a video link about it: GTA Online Insurance Fraud

I did find the trainer that allows such functions. It has even been mentioned here on the forum by a former member. I shall just call it the N. Trainer Menu, due to the derogatory nature of the abbreviated word. Something that seems a bit more nefarious than the functions of Jordan's Trainer.
If you find yourself in a session, like how the servers like to throw everyone into a public lobby after a job from time to time, don't switch sessions or log out, end the game's process through task manager, or if all else, cold boot your machine. This will be annoying, but it will have to be done as the way the network is set up, these modders can really damage your grind session. Exiting this way will make sure that whatever changes happened, they will not save to the cloud.
Do not try to take them on by yourself, these people I'd try not to engage them. If you find out who is doing the damage, write their username down and send a report outside of the game (reporting that person's profile through Social Club). As a note, keep in mind that each lobby has an autosave after every 15 minutes or so, as long as you purchase nothing, or sell anything. If you can cold boot the program before hand, any money lost will return to your banks. Though there may still be a possibility that you may still be put into a bad sport lobby, don't worry about that as long as the BS lobby gives you a timer for how long you are to be in bad sport, kinda like receiving an In-School Suspension type deal.
R* support will not help you unless you request a human to answer your problems and have evidence. The better way is to call R* support directly to have the issue fixed.
I suggest that there be an advisory on the crew's social club status about what is going on, and to tell them that until further notice, to go into private lobbies.

That's not a bad idea. I'll post an advisory.

Seems RoosterTeeth reported on this phenomenon with their gaming news channel The Know.
Here's the video:

Some of you may already know that the insurance fraud returned to GTA Online a couple of days ago, people have been talking about it on GTAForums for a while now. But according to TezFunz Rockstar has disabled the insurance for destroying personal vehicles on PC to try and avoid people losing thousands and thousands of dollars and getting placed into BS lobbies because of idiots with trainers. I guess it's better than nothing but I hope they'll find a better fix for it soon..

Actually might be a good thing. I find the entire insurance system in GTAO to be pretty pointless as it is.

That and a lot of times it's people who have an endless supply of glitched funds as it is. So they are never going to care. Plus, I kinda think it's BS when I get charged for blowing up an Insurgent or a Kuruma when the driver is being aggressive. I mean, sure I could shoot them through the slit in the windows... but then why do I have an RPG? I mean if I have my choice of hammers, I'm going to use the sledge.

Yeah the insurance worked great back in the 360 days to kind of keep people from blowing all to kingdom come. But now that system is just... pointless. Would like to see them come up with something else. Perhaps some greater form of punishment to those who continuously blow up cars, besides the broken bad lobby thing. Perhaps the ability for the person getting targeted to place a free 10K bounty on the head of the offending player, I don't know. Just something else.
But with how rockstar handles other stuff, I doubt anything will happen.

The insurance fraud is fixed ... hackers cant do that since R* disabled the insurance system.
