So Movie Maker has been serving my needs for a while. Simply taking the R* edited video and putting the sound file beside it. Recently though, when I needed to caption a Shadow Played recording of some NFS footage I got a tonne of audio de-sync when I rendered it. So I've decided that if I want to do anymore editing I will have to leave the ol' faithful Movie Maker behind and graduate to a big-boy program.
Anyone know of a good, entry-level, free/cheap video editing software?
Cheers

I've heard Sony Vegas is decent. I think Steam has a version of it. "Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum" Sells for $60.00 On the free/cheap side I'm afraid the best I can do is point you to the nearest torrenting site.
