Saturday the 24th of OCT @ 11am EDT
So after the great success of our first joint meetup we've decided to try and make these a monthly thing. So welcome to the second monthly Nonchalant Dominance/The Bullshifters meetup! (Our combined name can be discussed later.. No-Shifters is CalocoDoesGames's idea after the first meet.. you can give your ideas below).
I'll also say straight off the bat that I know soilworker has just set his times for the sequel to the Motorcycle Tour for this same weekend so I've tried to fit this in a gap the best I could. I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone too much.
This time round the Bullshifters will be controlling all of the free-mode stuff while NoDo handle the race playlist. The plan is to have one meet then a cruise then drags in those same cars. Then the NoDo playlist, then one one more meet with another cruise then drags that are open to any cars:
Please remember the Bullshifters rules for the meets, (these go for veteran Bullshifters, new Bullshifters and NoDo members alike).
First meet-up point is the Last Train in Los Santos diner in Vinewood. This will be a Muscle/Classic cars meet so any cars that are in those classes are acceptable. In terms of parking bays available, there are only 20 but with some care, maneuvering and using all the free space I'm sure we can find the last 10 (That's if we get 30 this time) Another cool group shot can be taken from out the front, (I also have a backup location if this proves too cramped). We will also need care in exiting the lot so please be patient:
After this will be a cruise down to the port for some drags in a new location we've never had drags before; so it should be interesting:
Then we'll hand over to Nos and the NoDo guys to do their playlist:
Alright, so here is the playlist we will be doing. Like last time, it will consist of 5 tracks, all around 10 min in length. Again, if you have not played any of these tracks, I recommend you do a few laps at some point to know what to expect. Playlist link
The North Loop East by @broughy1322 in Sedans
Recently NoDo PC had their Multi-Class Endurance Championship on the full North Loop that was also in Sedans, and it was great fun. The East section of this track consists of some very fast downhill turns that will test the limits of Sedans.
Rockin' The Parkway by bladecruiser in Sports Classics
This track is a very quick one, and will suit pretty much and sports classic well in terms of fun. It's a simple track for the most part, but does feature a couple of deceiving turns. Whether you're at the front in a Stirling GT or cruising in a Peyote in the back, this track should be a good time.
Bahrain International by drkloden in Sports
This speedy track by DrKloden was made to demonstrate that the recent changes to the creator weren't just to make loops. This revolutionary track in terms of prop placement will be a blast in any Sports
Frenchie's Grand Prix by @michiski22 in Supers
Frenchie's GP is an older track on PC, and one of the early ones that mich created. It's high speed turns will suit supers well and should be a nice balance between challenge and fun.
Parson's Loop by Sugar Free Nos in Muscle
Due to the car choice of Muscle for this type of track, this will most likely be the biggest challenge of the event, for both NoDo and BULL alike. Featuring multiple sweeping turns to lose traction on and a threatening chicane as an early turn, I suggest everyone come prepared, knowing how to drive your Muscle of choice.
After returning from the races we'll have our second meetup. This will be an Offroad meetup so acceptable vehicles will be listed below. The location for this meet is on the smaller of the two sand spits that create Paleto Bay. Can potentially do Bullshifters one side and NODO the other side:
Acceptable cars for the Offroad meet:
Offroad:
- All Offroads
- NO Insurgents
- NO Bikes
SUV:
- Patriot
- Mesa
Industrial:
- Guardian
Utility:
- Sadler
Vans:
- Bison
- Bobcat
(Anything you think should be on that list let me know).Offroad:
- All Offroads
- NO Insurgents
- NO Bikes
SUV:
- Patriot
- Mesa
Industrial:
- Guardian
Utility:
- Sadler
Vans:
- Bison
- Bobcat
Then I'll lead an offroad cruise through Ranton Canyon and across the desert to LSC (This is low speed). Once we've recovered I have another more exciting desert run planned with hill climbs and jumps. Should make for some cool shots! This will end up at the Rebel Radio tower, (Still following me.. Just a little higher paced):
Once finished with this we'll just jump over to Trevors airfield and start the open class drags.
My backup location if the Last Train in Los Santos proves to be too small. It's a Korean style shopfront with more than enough bays and cool lights at night. Hell, if people like this better then by all means we can have the meet here:
Once again we'll be looking for 15 people from both crews and we'll keep 10 reserve spots. Also note that we will be using the Teamspeak that the guys from NoDo have kindly let us use so please setup that up prior to the meet, details on how to do that are here:
